Coatue Structured Capital

Anyone have any intel on this group? Saw that they raised a pretty big fund but would appreciate any insights on performance, culture, comp, and generally how it compares to the rest of Coatue (both public and private)

This strategy is a moment in time strat. It reflects the precarious financial position of many startups after the excesses of Covid, and is basically a way for startups to pretend they aren’t doing a down round and for coatue to keep their private marks. Doubt it has longevity. It will never be in the dna of coatue to do this kind of stuff. Unless the fund is incredibly successful it will probably be a one off

In general on coatue do not join unless it is your only good option and you have very thick skin. Horrible culture.
