Create separate job sub-forum?

Would the mods ever consider this? Keep all the “tell me what to expect at this interview” or “here is my background, how do I get a job” posts in one area and use the main forum for asking questions about the industry and sharing information more broadly.

I saw the post asking question about macro investing  and I thought to myself - wow, someone who just wants to learn and I can share real knowledge with the community.

Separating off the self-interested job stuff would really help promote more industry discussion instead of just me-me-me posts.

That's the tragic problem because the me-me-me types just want to scheme their way to receive an offer, forgetting there is a whole career ahead of them where they need to continue to learn about many things, for which someone like you is immensely valuable.

I agree or at-least make the rankings in the HF section more relevant. Like a thread on 2,2,2,2 to tiger fund will be most active and top of the section like within a day.

While an in-depth discussion on KPIs or catalysts so on you have to scroll down to find it. Usually cause those are weeklong discussions where people are too busy to keep active daily.
