Day in the life of a research analyst at a L/S?

This has probably been talked about in prior posts but I couldn't find anything recent about it so wanted to bring back up - with the caveat that experiences can range widely based on a variety of factors - what's the day to day of a normal pod analyst like? Early mornings working models and thesis, glued to seat between market hours, and then late nights rehashing everything? Coming up on an inflection point in my PE seat so trying to get a better sense of what the other half lives like.
