Can you clarify what you mean by execution? Would that mean like you are at a private markets investing firm and you would mainly do the “deal-work” diligence like building a model, data room stuff, quarterbacking advisors, etc?

The most straightforward exit opps would be to execution analyst roles at other similar firms. Those are the skills you will have based on your current role, so those are the skills headhunters and hiring managers will safely assume you can handle in a new role. Any other type of role would involve you learning to do something you have not done before, which can happen of course but is more of a leap of faith. Prestige definitely matters, but definitely not unless you can reasonably do the work.
