Do BizDev people talk to each others?
I was really bad during my interview process at one of the Big 4 MM few months ago.
Since then, the interest for my profile has decreased a lot at the other funds. I'm junior analyst at a big 4 MM.
Do you think, from your experience, that BD are talking to eachothers ? Or even blacklisting candidates?
It's also likely that i'm doing mistakes in my approaches with funds too.
Absolutely they talk to each other, if not directly, then they rally some info to recruiter they are close with who then echoes it to his other clients

Well, if I can't get another spot at a MM, I don't know what could I do now... I want to leave my team so bad.
You're at a pod right now and interviewed for another pod? Which part of the interview process did you mess up in?
The PM grilled me on brainteasers/mental math for 1hr straight.
No market conversations, no question on investment process and no stock pitches.
I was definitely not ready for that (I can't say I'm more ready today to be totally honest).
I think unless it's an unusual case your interview performance should not propagate from one firm to another. Everybody understands a candidate can totally mess up a brainteaser interview. That's nothing, and should not affect your chances at another firm at all in my opinion.
