Do macro funds trade equities?
Do global macro funds focus much at all on equities? I know that they focus a lot on on FICC, but I was wondering if they trade equity indexes, single stocks, or equity derivatives much?
Long story short, yes if trading the equities represents a better way to express the thesis - eg the china reopening trade wouldve been best expressed with buying the chinese/hk indexes
Have macro funds been taking a position on the whole banking crisis lately through equities?
