Fixed Income HF vs L/S Equity
Hi everyone, I have a background in l/s equity but recently have been thinking of moving to the fixed income side (have had a few HF opportunities come my way). I'm assuming that non-distressed fixed income is more stable/less stressful but perhaps lower pay than equities, but I may be mistaken. Anyone have color on comp/lifestyle vs equities and/or general thoughts on the space? How does working at a FI HF compare to the big FI AM players like PIMCO or private debt funds? Thanks in advance!
