For those that left IB before 2 years for HF, do you regret it and would you have went to a safer fund?

for those that left IB before 2 years and went to a Hf, do you regret it? I originally went to IB to get to a HF but worried that I don’t like Hf and then can’t do much investing (pe route is closed). Any thoughts or advice?
