Getting pushed out - messaging advice
Title says it. Just had my annual review and was told I don’t have a future with the firm. No excuses, my ideas just didn’t work this year and made a couple of dumb mistakes along the way. Have enough goodwill that they are allowing me to take my time with finding what’s next. Curious if anyone has advice / insights on how to message to recruiters / in interviews when I invariably get the question as to why I’m leaving my current fund.
