Hedge Fund Interview Help!
I have an interview with a pretty big hedge fund next week and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to prepare for it, being that this is my first hedge fund interview (only had s&t interviews up until now).
Some background...
Interviewer is an alumnus of my school, PM at the HF, and is reportedly "definitely" going to hire 1 of the 5 candidates he is interviewing (given that everyone doesn't totally bomb the interview)
Position: Fixed Income Summer Analyst at a $10 billion+ HF in boston
Responsibilities: Provide Quantitative and Analytical support to the Portfolio Manager Analyze markets to find trading opportunities Build and implement tools and models Review, track and optimize portfolio performance Quantify, track and help to minimize portfolio risks Communicate with trading counterparties Execute and report market transactions
Any suggestions on how I should go about preparing for this and what I should look out for compared to an s&t interview would be awesome . thanks guys
