Hedge Fund offer timeline
When it comes to the large hedge funds (SAC, DE Shaw - - with some dedicated HR staff) could folks post how long it took after final rounds/case study to hear about offers? Did HR contact you or was it a member of the team you interviewed with? Guessing it varies widely but thought I'd ask...thanks guys/gals
I've heard back anything from hours to weeks after final / case study rounds just among the larger funds. Sometimes it was HR, sometimes a team member, once it was my own headhunter.. It really all depends
really appreciate that info, thanks man
I got a call from one of the senior guys who interviewed me. HR called a day later to ask about my decision. Took approximately 1.5 weeks or so.
I've heard within 2 weeks, usually 1.
Sweet, thanks man. Bmcrhino was yours for an offer or a non-offer? Thanks guys.
I've had both. I didn't notice any difference in timing between the two outcomes.
10 days, background check took another 1.5 weeks
