Interested in how Michael Burry, who didn’t come from an investing background or even have formal education in business and finance, managed to raise money to start Scion Capital. The man is obviously extremely smart but what would make LPs want to give him their money instead of a more conventional money manager? I mean no disrespect to him I’m genuinely curious.
