How does revenue sharing work in HFs for founding partners?
Forgive me if this has already been asked before and please do point me to it but how would revenue/profit sharing work for a founding partner of a startup hedge fund (50MM seed funding)? A partner that is not in the investment role but help facilitates the investment process. What are some other comp packages that are better than profit sharing both for the partner and the firm? Also how is profit sharing different from say a bonus?
