How many of HF managers do you think are quantitatively well-versed?
I’ve been interested in hedge funds for quite some time but opted for IB because I’ve been scared of stochastic calculus, etc. - everything hyper quantitative which I personally regret right now (tell me the story how you got into HF without technical background by the way)
I’m wondering how many of HF managers and to what extent do you think they are quantitatively well-versed? Like do you think they know black scholes model (just an example) but to what extent does it matter? example)?
