How to gauge fundraising trajectory?
Had a fund selling themselves as top performer with great interest from the market, but found out after diligence with friends in LP space that they manipulated the numbers by excluding underperforming vintages and no one wants to invest in them. Aside from pension plan reporting, how do you DD a fund’s true performance and ability to raise the next fund?
