How to Get From Investment Banking to Working at a Hedge Fund

I just started working as an Investment Banking Analyst that focuses on M&A and want to break into working at a hedge fund within the next 3 to 5 years. I know its a transition that is very common. What skills should I look to develop at the investment bank that would transfer over to a hedge fund?
