nobody is seeding a one-year track record with back-tested results in some "black box" strategy. Back-testing means little to nothing. Maybe you can amass a few mill in family/friends money to run it for a while. In addition, you will at least need to be able to explain your strategy and why it truly exploits some sort of inefficiency and the excess return is persistent.
P.S. "Marketing" on WSO probably isn't your best bet.
