Hey everyone, I’m looking to apply to some L/S Equity Funds in London for a Summer Internship. Would really appreciate any advice you have regarding how to prepare, which places to go and general application process.

There’s not one specific thing to learn. Go pick a stock and read around its industry, learn to model and figure out what’s driving the stock price and what has caused the stock to move in the past.
Stock pitches and modelling are you best friends. This is pretty intensive so I’d probably only do this if you’re genuinely interested in pursuing public equities as a career, I can’t really think of many hedge funds that offer internships in London for L/S
