Incoming MM HF Analyst ... Looking for a tutor
Looking to hire a tutor, and will pay $/hr. Ideally, I am looking for a mentor who has experience working at a MM HF, but SM HF or something related is fine. I am a current undergrad transitioning to a top MM HF from a summer analyst experience in IBD and would like any guidance as I have been studying everything on my own. Please PM me if interested!
Curious how much hourly rate is fair for this? 🤔

This guy works for one of the big 4 in the best performing lndn based team at his fund. Has a pretty interesting background and is a nice person (I’m not him, but know him IRL as we worked at same fund). Reach out to him
There are exceptions and your friend could be one of them but I'm very skeptical someone on a top team at a big 4 has the desire and capacity to do this type of work. To be even more extreme it's a very questionable use of time and makes me doubt his judgment.
Agreed, majority of us are on here cause we want to network and help guide the younger generation just like someone did for us. To full on, “tutor someone” is pretty left field.
Many people have used web resources and informational calls to come up with theisi/blogs etc..where they can get direct feedback on their work.
it would be crazy if OP thinks that he will get “full on tutoring” from a full time professional. There are lots of people at good funds on here who want to help people break in, especially if they didnt have that mentorship or came from a unique background like my ex co worker
spending 1/2 hr with someone every couple of weeks on a weekend isnt that crazy for someone whos passionate about helping others or is trying to repay the favour (which I assume is what my ex co worker is trying to do)
re your skepticism, its valid but what i described is true, so could fit your exception bracket
