Only people in WSO think you "choose" your strategy. In the real world, it tends to be you get a job where you can, hopefuly you learn a sensible strategy from somone competent, and as you mature, you shape it a bit with your own thoughts and experience.
No one decides at 21 out of college they want to do convertible arb for a living. People mostly get there through a process where a lot of randomness is involved.
Thank you. This is what I was looking for. Now on to finding that competent someone with a sensible strategy.
