Yes. Mostly anything can be monitored on a work laptop. For example, the company may opt to install a keylogger which records everything that you type.

Some advanced keyloggers can even take screenshots of the screen. And, there is software that can record everything that happens on a computer screen.

The person monitoring can see what you’re doing in real-time or play a video of it at a later date.

I cannot say that any particular company does this but it is quite possible and easy to do.

The answer is YES. A company can monitor your WhatsApp activity or any other activity that you may use their computers for if they desire to do so.

Wow thanks for sharing, had no idea. I have Microsoft Teams and Outlook on my personal phone to use for work. However, I needed to login using a secure app that my old company made me download (forgot which one). By doing this, can they access all my other apps on my phone like Whatsapp, Chrome, Messenger, etc.? Or is it only company specific applications like teams, outlook, concur, etc.?

If the gov can bust communications on cryptic phone apps, why do you think they can't do it on your fking WORK PC lol....

Not something I'd do. At my place they can see whats going on my screen I think.
