Is MF Infra PE Analyst to HF Possible?
I'm curious - Do people on the HF forum think an MF Infra PE Analyst could get good looks when recruiting for fundamental L/S HF roles?

What are the responsibilities of a infra analyst? Do you evaluate business and industry quality or is it entirely project based?
Probably possible to recruit for L/S but IB would be more straight forward.
Yes - get all the same looks as the corporate PE folks. Depends a bit on the fund, of course, but at at MF where the infra deals tend to lean corporate with an infra angle, the skill set is more or less the same as traditional PE at the analyst / associate level.
Not OP but you mean the transactions tend to be at the company level rather than the asset level right?
