Is Ruane Cunniff still viewed as a top tier, elite investor? Sequoia fund is trailing S&P by 440bps over the last 10 years, and I think it reopened to new investors? Maybe the performance is good ex Valeant I guess. I know it's a great firm, but do you still put it in the same bucket as D&C, Wellington, Capital, Select Equity, etc. in terms of "prestige"? (even though I hate that word)

Do you think they'll be able to move past the impact Valeant had on their reputation / performance? I don't know a lot about the firm, so not sure if it was like a one time fuck up, or if there are deeper issues
