Joining a MM Macro Pod - What to prepare

joining a MM macro pod. 2nd job after uni, My first was at a small Macro HF where I was in a hybrid strucutrue, reporting to 2 PMs and used as a shared resource to the broader fund. Wondering if anyone had tips on what to prep? PM and the team are asking a few questions but said not to prep much but I want to cover all bases and hit the ground running if that makes sense. Any reading recommendations are helpful!
