Joining ER after pod firm blew up

Started at a big podshop out of UG in August, and we blew up at the end of the year. HR failed to repod me. Was luck to get an offer at a #1 ranked SS team pretty quickly. Accepted the offer. Am curious to hear 1) General optics towards heading back to buyside since I started there and 2) Whether I should have kept recruiting to take a chance to stay on BS

Doing ER for 2 years at a top II ranked team (BB?) is better for your development than trying to find another shop that may not have a structured training program. Since you're fresh out of undergrad, you'll benefit from more standardized training, developing expertise in an industry, and broad exposure to a lot of different buyside clients. ER -> Pods is a pretty well defined path, especially if you're on a top ranked team.
