Hello everyone,

I will be moving out of my city later this year to work at a fund. As you might know, moving has moving costs. The place I will be working at has not offered any sort of coverage for these expenses. Would it be rude for me to ask them to or ask if there is any sort of moving cost coverage?

How should I go about this?

Thx

I would just ask their HR team if they have a moving stipend or something along those lines. Looks like you are a new college grad so I'd be happy if they gave you like $3 - 5k but they might not offer moving stipends for that junior of a level.   You can move yourself cross country to the city for around $2k if moving with decent amount of furniture / things (using a pod drop).
