Key Square Capital Management

I know this fund was founded by Scott Bessent in the Soros legacy, but I can't find any info online. Is it based in NYC or Charleston? Is the Charleston office where Bessent works out of? Any color on strategy, assuming wide mandate directional macro under Bessent's pod, but do they do RV or systematic?

I believe it's actually Greenwich based, but Bessent spends a bit of time in Charleston and elsewhere. Strategy isn't systematic, mostly directional bets on just about anything global macro (FX, rates, commodities, equities). Process is very team oriented. Go on retreats, talk with consultants and come up with ideas together.

That's about what I know, hope it helps.

any idea what the headhunters are/where they recruit from? Assuming you need to be a PM at another macro pod manager? Or did he just take people from Soros.

Think it's mostly works through broker relationships/sales referrals. Not a lot of seats open up, but I believe there are occasional MBA interns as well
