Looking to break an employment agreement I signed (still on garden leave)

I accepted an QR offer five months ago with a major MM HF (A), and so I'm currently on garden leave until early next year. I'm thinking about breaking the employment agreement with (A) to work for another MM HF (B), who is ready to give me a written offer for an APM position. What are everyone's opinions on potential legal repercussions, if any, of my breaking the employment agreement with HF (A)? There is no language in the agreement about changing one's mind behind one starts working there. Thanks very much in advance!

Not sure if anyone here can help you with this. My only advice is if you are looking at 6/7 figures comp potential with all these HFs maybe it’s worth it to spend a small portion of that consulting a lawyer.
