L/S vs Event
Hey guys. Potentially dumb question but curious if you have any thoughts - How blurred is the line between long/short and event driven strategies?
Functionally, I understand that L/S will be less focused on hard catalysts (mergers, BKs etc), but I’d imagine most miss-priced opportunities are a product of a misunderstood catalyst.
Preparing for a few L/S interviews and have an RX background so want to make sure I’m not coming across as an event prospect that’s in the wrong room.
