M&A to Retail Trader & Researcher to Global macro HF

Hey monkeys, i'm a bit of a special case and now want idealy a job as a macro trader and/or researcher within an HF. or if that fails something similar in a bank. i'm undecided at this stage between research and trading as i can't dissociate them in my mind. i had a normal resume base on the m&a template before as that what's i did but i want to put a lot more emphasis on my trading/rsch activities so far; so what do you think of this template and my whole premise of getting into an HF directly. where can i find a list of such HFs at all, how do i go about this. Any advice would be quite helpful. thanks
