MM HF 2025 Outlook

Hey guys, any thoughts on how recruiting volume will be for the big 4 MM next year? Also, does anyone have the most recent HH coverage for these 4? Looking to put my name in for pods at these shops across the board even though I’ve only been in my PE seat for 6 months.

Thanks this is really helpful. Should I be interview ready when reaching out (have decent enough background and behavioral just not airtight on my pitches at the moment?). For PE the initial HH calls were high level enough that I could prepare after being put in processes.

I honestly would be interview-ready. I've had calls with MM biz dev and it was mixed. Some were more of a "get to know you" type of call while others were very in depth (e.g. pitch me an idea - yes biz dev has asked me that before...). It also depends on how senior you are. These biz dev folks talk to a ton of candidates all the time so I wouldn't treat it as a typical initial HH call.
