Moving from special sits / distressed -> L/S
Has anyone made the jump from a special sits / distressed equity type seat to a L/S fund? Currently at an UMM private equity manager and want to move to a fund that invests in healthier companies. Happy to look at industries that are on the "edge", ie; industrials but getting burnt out looking at shitcos.
Feels like almost all roles I ever get floated are distressed or credit funds by head hunters.
