Multi-Manager Comp in 2023
Does anyone have updated info on multi-manager comp (Citadel, Millenium, P72, Baly) in 2023? Coming out of a 2 year banking program can one expect 150+150 in the first year? And how does that comp scale over time?
Assuming for the first ~2 years as a junior your compensation is largely fixed and not tied to the performance of your underlying team. Is that correct?
Why would you assume that lol
Your job security is certainly tied to your team's performance so I don't see why comp wouldn't be. There's limits to how much a junior analyst can make I'd imagine since they're not risk-taking.
depends on the pm, there's no set range. you may get a target estimate, but it's usually verbal and vague eg "if things go well, all in comp somewhere in the 3-range. once you start to increase in responsibility, you should be making multiples of your base"
I’d be interested in comp figures for fresh grads if anyone has them.
P72 academy goes as high as 225-250k USD all in. No idea about analysts
So the academy has a bonus? I thought it's mostly training.
Following. Specifically interested in how much volatility there is at the junior level
Base salary looks OK but bonus is way too high.
If you come out of IBD, it's very unlikely that you will generate enough P&L during your first year to deserve an extra base salary as bonus.
150/150 sounds right at my MM
Does everyone start at the same comp level, or is there some flexibility for people with more experience?
know of people who went to a pod after 2+2 and know they have the same title as people who went from IB to pods but wondering if they get some comp credit for their extra experience
In theory they shouldn't afaik.
Anyone have insight into london figures
For grads (training program) its 100k gbp base with around 20k signing bonus. 30-80% bonus after is doable but not sure what the criteria is since ur in a training program.
Sounds accurate, what about after 1/2 years in ibd ?
Anyone have an idea of how the comp scales as well coming in as an associate after banking? Understood that it's really variable but would be helpful to hear figures
