Personalities in HF vs IB

Using IB as a gateway into Hedge Funds is considered to be pretty traditional, and I would say that IB definitely gives you strong foundations and insights into finance and accounting. But does anyone else feel that the personality types between these two fields is very different? Obviously it would depend on the specific fund and their culture.
