PhD quant fund compensation 2022

What is the current 1st year compensation outlook for new quants holding PhDs at either hedge funds or market makers?

A data point I have for a market maker (for any grads/no PhD) is

€25k sign-on

€75k base

€125k 'variable pay' - not sure if this means your potential bonus is capped at €125k even if you make €B for the firm.

Total: €225k

And for a London based trading firm- data from a recruiter from last year (for grads with PhD)

£100k sign-on

£200k base

£bonus structure unknown

Thanks
