Pod shops' case study
How long do you have for the case study stage for the MMHFs? Keen to hear on Citadel/P72/MLP/BALY/etc
I'm not talking about the 45min online model test you get where you just populate a semi populated excel. Its the one you do when you passed that online test, BD interview etc.
I have heard people say this ranges from a 3/4hr case study where you get financials for 1/2 years and told to make a 3 Statement model with forecasts and a quick thesis. Others say they are given a week to come up with a proper thesis/model.
My friend who recruited for Citadel told me he got 3 days for the case study. There were multiple assignments too - the whole process took like 2 months I think with multiple jam-packed assignments. Gosh, I can't imagine spending THAT much time on recruiting for one firm with an uncertain outcome, shirking uni work and other commitments along the way, then getting rej at the last round or smtg.
Key word: Friend told, so take this with a grain of salt
Ok thanks, but this was for the grad/intern programme right not an experienced hire?
yea yea, internship not experienced hire
that process was much longer than p72 internship lol. Was a week's long case study then interviews.
Experienced hire is much longer, proper modeling and case study/pitch analysis then multiple rounds with PMs.
Bump, interested to hear what experienced hires' experience for the case study - I have done 2 years of SS and have my first round interviews in the new year.
