Point 72 Spring Insight 2024 thoughts?
I'm a first year in the process of applying to spring weeks. What is your guys' opinion on applying to point spring week if I am thinking to also apply for the summer. I know it might seem stupid and you guys will say apply and there's no harm, but will i get dinged if I apply to them and get rejected for the spring which lowers my chance of an opportunity for the summer
There's absolutely no harm in applying for spring weeks and summer internships with the same firm. Apply to as many places as possible, it's a numbers game after all.
Thank you for the input I'll send an application off. Did you do a lot of networking for your spring week applications as I know to bulk apply, but I'm not entirely sure of the power of nepotism in the UK in comparison to the US.
Networking has little/no value in the UK. Also, please ensure you only apply to summers when in your penultimate year if that wasn't already clear.
Applying to both spring and summer at the same place isn’t a good idea. You’re claiming 2 different graduation dates.
