Point72 - What to expect in biz dev call?

After the initial model test, what is the interview process like at P72? I have a biz dev call coming up and I'm wondering what is typically asked during these calls? Is it just getting more color on my background, fit, etc.?

Should my pitches (~2 longs, 1 short) be ready for the next round with the actual team?

It’s just a conversation on your background, behaviourals etc

yes for the pitches. Make sure they’re catered towards what MMs look for and have a view on whether KPIs are accelerating or decelerating etc alongside a catalyst path

That will be the biggest difficulty for me since I come from a duration LO background. What is the longest timeframe my pitch could be (12 months?) and should the focus be on the next quarter or over the NTM? Essentially, do I need to generate a concrete view on the coming earnings result?

It’s less to do with timeframe, and more to do with focusing on concrete drivers. What is the momentum of the business’ drivers, what is the market expecting from these and where do you diverge.
