Post HF career options

Spent 6 years in BB ER before switching over to buy-side (MM pod) for 2 years hoping that a change would help to reignite my passion for the job, which was high in my early years in ER. Now reaching a point where the work is increasingly monotonous/no longer interesting after covering a similar space/sector for the bulk of this time - though not thinking that a change in sector coverage would really get me more interested as well.

Curious if anyone had similar experiences and successfully pivoted industries/careers - likely stating the obvious but ER/HF skill set is somewhat limited to industry, and corporates often don’t have a great understanding of our day to day/skills etc. Open to any ideas.
