Posting deep-dives on names a compliance issue? (Don't work at HF)

I am about to start a role at an allocator. I would like to move to SS ER or direct L/S. I had an idea of having a YouTube channel or Twitter account where I post my pitches, to get feedback and network. I am wondering if this will piss off the people I work for at the allocator, if they were to find out. If it is important, I will not be covering / looking at public equity managers.
