How are quants doing this year?
In the context of medium frequency equities, they had outperformed fundamental l/s strategies last couple of years generally speaking.
Curious if the trend has continued this year, or was it a short term crowding effect that worked in their favor?

Quants have broadly had a pretty terrible year. Especially compared to the last couple. Worldquant lost 1bn earlier this year and apparently has only just made it in the black
I have heard mixed numbers, don't have big enough sample size but some performing 3%+ on gmv, while some in red
