Have been given a case study for an interview & one of the names is a Korean equity - I haven't got a clue how to figure this out in time without manually translating the documents. GPT is fkn useless here also.
There has to be a better way to do this that I'm not aware of.......?
Korean equities typically have different shareholder classes which makes them difficult to invest in. Also difficult to hedge given their liquidity constraints. Feel free to PM me for more details
also shady complicated corp structure and interweaving ownership structures. how long did you get? if only a few days, keep it to basics and try to quantify it simply. I assume this is one of the defense names? rotem or hanwha aero?
