Rift at Bridgewater Associates ?
Thoughts on the Bridgewater apparent Dalio-Jensen rift ?
What about the "Pain Button" app that Bridgewater employees use to record "feelings" (anger, frustration, sadness)? (wsj link inside the post).
Employees at the world’s largest hedge fund carry around iPads with an app called “Pain Button.” It tracks negative feelings like “angry,” “frustrated” and “sad” with the twist of on-screen dials.

How about being rated or "doted " 2000 times a year by other employees a year: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/08/business/dealbook/bridgewater-executi…

I thought this was a funny take on it. From the outside the place really seems like a mix between a 1970's cult and a new age preschool.
I really liked Matt Levine's take on it. I have no idea when they actually find time to do their jobs, what with all the intensive study of employee manuals, talking sh!t about your colleagues, probing them, etc...
Everything I've heard about Ray Dalio and Bridgewater makes it sound like he's fucking insane. From everything I've read about the place, I'm not sure how anyone can work there or how they're even successful.
it may be weird, but it seems to work
Dalio IS a gentile after all, so he isnt privy to insider information and has to do it the hard way, be smart.
Two hedge fund dudes with gigantic egos having a power struggle? What a shocker
Side note, being last in recipient ordering on emails is a huge snub
