Is the traditional 2+2 IB then PE route the best way to break into the HF space, or would something like ER be more suitable?

There is HF out of school; many shops have training programs now.
There's IB/PE to HF, ER to HF, S&T to HF etc etc
If you want a career at a HF, you need to do the bare minimum and do some research around this. This question is the sole reason WSO exists.
