What do you guys think a multi-billion HF might pay its Senior Equity Analysts...? I'm trying to get a ballpark idea before a potential interview but it seems like the range could be really wide...

They never share that information. The only way to get a ballpark would be to ask friends in similar positions.
As you say, pay at that level ranges quite widely. I'd follow banker88's advice, and also bear in mind what you are willing to accept/think is reasonable
