Serious question: Can I run a friends onlyfans account and collect money from it without reporting it as outside business activity and not get fired?

I have a friend who wants to make only fans content but doesn't want to chat with people and set stuff up etc.

Can I run her only fans for and collect some of the money while working for a fund that requires approval for outside business activities? It's a small single manager and I'm making good money so I don't want to ruin it.

This is not a shitpost, I actually want to do this.

It really depends. Either the time you have spent helping this friend out and growing their business has resulted in no net gain for the planet, meaning you definitely should get fired. Or you've (definitely just your friend has) done a fantastic job and on a cold February night when you're drowning in work and your MD is trying everything to recover from his divorce, you will have your 'get out of jail free card'. What I'm really trying to say is - link?

What are you going to do to help for real? A couple of people have proposed this to me and I mean, as easy as it sounds, how do you blow up an only fans with so many people doing the same shit now?

Your employer will *probably* never find out. Even if they do find out, then you'll *probably* be able to get away with a "Oh, sorry I forgot to file that form". But if your boss is even the slightest bit upset with you, then failing to disclose this would absolutely count as grounds for termination with cause, even if you're only making a miniscule amount.

Do you think you'll actually make significant money from managing this account? Even if your friend is super gorgeous, it's hard to standout on only fans now, so hard to imagine you'll make a lot of money from this. (And even in the unlikely case that your friend becomes wildly profitable, then there's a chance she'd just replace you rather than share the profits with you). Plus if her account takes off, this could be a lot of work for you.

Best strategy is to help your friend set this up as a favor to her, but don't ask for money (cause there probably won't be much money anyway). Let her pay you back "in some other way" (whatever that means to you, either something explicit or else just general goodwill friendship points). In the unlikely situation that her account starts becoming profitable, then you can reconsider whether its enough money to be worth the risk to your job.

I've always thought it would be great to invest in the cash flows of an OF account either as equity (to have upside exposure for growing accounts) or as a fixed income instrument (for mature, cash flowing accounts) and from there, potentially securitize baskets of OF fixed income tranches. Unfortunately we need more OF accounts, so OP I encourage you to do this (this is not legal advice).
