Sharpe ratio to aim for in paper book?

Obviously the practical answer is “as high as possible”. But in reality, what’s the target sharpe ratio on residual / idio in a paper book for associate / senior associate / analyst level at the multi managers? Is there a threshold required to continue moving up the chain for promotions?
