Currently work in LO credit research but want to get into L/S or opportunistic credit so trying to develop solid content going into interviews. Can someone please walk me through how to structure a short credit pitch: everything from the fundamentals/modeling to the trading mechanics (ex. sourcing, timing, buying a CDS vs directly shorting the bond)?
