If my goal is to work at a hedge fund is it better to accept an offer at an S&T Equity Derivatives desk or an investment management analyst position for a fixed income desk?
I know there is a lot of "it depends" but any advice is appreciated.

Interested as well. I'd assume it depends on the fund. I think both backgrounds would be decent, although the choice then is fixed income versus equities. Maybe someone in the industry can shed some light on this.
