Standard terms for equity PMs at C

Anyone know what the latest standard terms are for equity PMs at Citadel (i.e. not super senior hires), is it still 18-19% with no kickers as the typical slope or has it changed in recent years?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are the standard terms for equity PMs at Citadel:

  • Junior PMs: Typically receive around 10-15% of the PnL, with most closer to 10% to start.
  • Senior PMs: Generally receive 15-20% of the PnL. Some senior PMs at Citadel get paid out 10% net of expenses, especially in GFI.
  • Analysts: Usually receive a cut of 5-7% of the PnL.

Additional details: - Bonus Vesting: Bonuses over $750k are often paid out as a mix of cash and investment in the fund, which vests over 3 years. - Team Payouts: Some arrangements include a 10% total team payout plus 50% of any payout related to individual performance or sub-strategy.

These terms can vary based on the specific role, experience, and performance of the PM or analyst.
